From Arrivals to Torches a list of useful info for the event.

• Arrivals & Departures

Delegates can arrive onsite from 12noon on Friday 27th August. You can arrive on Saturday – there will be people to greet you in the morning. The first meeting starts at 10.30am.

On Monday 30th August cars are only allowed onsite after 11.00am - anybody who has a particular need to leave before then must arrange this with the Information Point

• Bars

The Tavern bar on site will be open during the weekend – opening hours tbc.

• Basketball and Tennis

There is a basketball and tennis court on the site.

• Bookshop

We will again have a dedicated space for the bookshop with everything you will need to stock up on books, CDs and more.

• Bedtime

In order to ensure that babies and small children are not disturbed at night, please remain as quiet as possible around the tent site after 7.30pm.

We would like to aim for a curfew on the site from 11pm

• Bicycles

Unfortunately we are not allowing bikes, skateboards, scooters etc onsite as the site is not fully pedestrianised.

• Camping shop

There is a Halfords store with camping supplies just off the A1 (one junction South) and there are some supplies including gas bottles at the local farm shop off the roundabout towards the A1.

• Car parking

Upon your arrival you will be issued with a windscreen sticker for your car.

For security purposes please display this inside your windscreen for the duration of the weekend. Once you have unloaded your vehicle please remove it to the car park ASAP.

• Cash

As most vendors will take only cash please make sure you have sufficient for the weekend. The nearest local cashpoint is at Sainsburys (the other side of the A1/B658 junction).

• Children’s play area

On Saturday & Sunday afternoon children can use a range of inflatables and games in the activity area – please remember that children must not be left without adult supervision.

• Disabled car parking

For guests with disabled stickers on their car, there is a designated car parking area next to the Tennis Courts.

• Dogs or other pets

Unfortunately dogs (or other pets) will not be allowed onsite for health and safety reasons.

• First Aid

We will have trained first aiders on call 24 hours.

• Food

The Shuttleworth Garden restaurant will be available. There will also be a food court with a selection of options.

Essentials such as bread & milk will also be available from the restaurant and there is a Sainsbury’s just 5 minutes away (just off the A1).

• Hostel

The hostel accomodation price covers only the cost of the room. All the rooms are single rooms, with their own sink. They have a shared toilet and a shower room on each floor (shared with 6-8 rooms).

A hostel booking does not include food. Each hostel block has a lounge and kitchen area on the middle floor of each block. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, microwave and kettle. There is no cutlery, plates or cooking utensils provided.

• Jubilee Play Centre

The playground will be open free of charge during the weekend. It is a short walk through beautiful grounds from the camping area

• Kites

As Shuttleworth has an airfield next to it kite flying is not allowed.

• Lost Children

Missing children should be reported to Information Point and we will start the lost child process.

• Shuttleworth Collection and Swiss Garden

We hope to have discounted entry to these onsite attractions will be available over the weekend

• Toilets

Please try to keep these as you would wish to find them!

• Torches

Make sure you bring a torch as most of the site is unlit at night.
