‘Outloud – Breaking News’

Exciting news! This year at Outloud we are going to have a completely different evening on the Sunday, which will be lead by YOU (mainly….!) We’ll be having an ‘Open Mic Talent Show’ followed by a ‘Grill-a-Christian’.

But we need your help to set this up. If you’re between 12 and 18, we’d love for you to be able to use the gifts that God has given you and get involved on the Sunday evening, whether it be singing, dancing, juggling footballs, break dancing, speaking the alphabet backwards whilst balancing on your head eating doughnuts and playing the flute!! You can involved, as individuals or as groups. Maybe your whole youth group has a sketch they could perform? This is going to be a great evening!

If you would like to be part of the youth talent show please email Jon Lawn at jon@hope.xtn.org with your name, contact number and a brief description of what you’d like to do (max time length 5 mins) before Friday 20th August so that we can draw up a time table for the evening.

For the second half of the evening we will have a panel of Christians on stage, who are willing to be grilled and answer any questions you want to throw at them! If you have a question you’d like to ask, or a burning issue that you’d like to get some good Christian input to, please email it to Jon Lawn at jon@hope.xtn.org and we’ll add them to the list for the evening. All questions will be given anonymously!

For this evening to work really well we need YOUR involvement so please think about helping us out and taking part.

We’re looking forward to having a great time in the presence of God at Outloud, having fun, meeting together and getting stirred to live OUTLOUD for Jesus.

Specific Requirements

We want to make sure that everyone who comes to together@shuttleworth 2010 gets as much out of the event as possible. If you have specific requirements which mean you may need some extra help – for example, you may need sign language interpretation of meetings, a disability parking space or accessible loos – please let us know. We will then get in touch to see if there’s anything we can reasonably do to help.

See you at Shuttleworth!
