Helping Out
There are a number of opportunities to serve at Together@Shuttleworth. Those who do so are the
un-sung heroes and we are so grateful for all who help.

All you need is a cheerful spirit, availability and some experience (along with CRB check) if you are doing kids or youth work. The Safety Team will get a free space for serving due to the shifts but we regret we can not give discounts for other helpers.
Youth
Join up with the team who will be raising the roof at Outloud by being a part of the ministry team. Some experience in this area would be best – but what an opportunity to see God at work.
Kids
Helpers are needed for all three age groups (4-7s and 8-11s) – when you fill in your serving form please indicate what your age preference is, if you have one. Also include your kids work experience, if you have any as this will help in our planning.
Safety Team
You would be responsible for the safety of delegates on site, which will include patrols, traffic supervision and dealing with incidents as they arise. If you are part of this team it will be a full-time serving role but you will be a significant cog in the wheel of a successful event. In recognition of the extent of the role and that some shifts will be overnight the Safety Team get a free place.
Stewarding Team
Being part of this team will mean you look after the safety of delegates while the meetings are taking place. This includes checking that the venues are safe beforehand, during and after the meetings. The stewarding team is an active one, and will mean your involvement from Saturday morning through to Monday morning.
Welcome Team
The Welcome Team does just that – welcomes delegates! A smile, cheery greeting and an ability to retain information and then communicate it clearly to others are all good abilities to possess. You will need to be on site from 9am on Friday (if possible) and your commitment will end by Saturday mid-day.
Site Set Up
Are you free to help setup the site ready for the thousands? We need people who can help from Tuesday 24th to Thursday 26th August (ideally all three days but if you can only help for one that is still great). We also need help at the end as well!
Site Set Down
Are you free to help set down the site? We need some willing volunteers to work with us from the close of the final meeting, lunch time, until 4pm on the Monday and for four people to be with us until 7pm on the Tuesday! Can you help?
Site Office
Could you help man the site office during the weekend? We are looking for a number of people who can cover a couple of shifts (probably about 4 hours), helping the management team with alsorts of office tasks.
